Dax's First Litter

Born October 14, 2005

Dax was due Sunday Oct 16th, but decided to have them two days early! I got home Friday around 5pm and she had a couple babies. YAY!

Who knew that by 6pm she would have 14 little squeakers! All very cute and very very big compared to who round she was. Angel is a very proud papa!

But we have 14 very happy and cute babies. I didn't take any pictures until they were 24 hours old. We have 9 girls and 5 boys.

We have no selfs(solids). Every one of the little squeakers is a berkshire! And very cute. We have tummy pictures to show thier cuteness.

I thought those two photos were fun

They feel like balls of wiggly velvet. They all have standard ears and fur. We are all black colored (thanks Tiva) but some of us are faded/rusted out because of our beige daddy. Many of us have inherited his going limp when held personality and mommys super snuggly lovey personality. Soooooo cute!

All of these available snugglies have homes. Except for one little guy who fell into my heart when he developed a small bladder infection and required a couple days of special care. My fault I'm sure because I fed them something that isn't quite on the good foods list for ratties.
